![]() ![]() The narrator in this series is a better fit, too, and added to the listening pleasure for me. I found myself soaking it all in appreciatively as I followed the very compelling details of Fitz' and Lord Golden's search for the missing Prince Dutiful. Hobbs' narrative is richly descriptive, and complements the story line of this book perfectly. An older, more self controlled Fitz, in this tale still has some of his earlier traits, but in moderation. That said, my estimation this story with the mature Fitz is even better than the previous ones where he was young and far too impetuous, often causing him to make foolish and regrettable decisions that drove the plot. I enjoyed the tales of Fitz Chivalry's youth, and would suggest that reader's listen to them before starting this newer trilogy. After listening to the first chapter I knew I had better listen to the first 3 titles in the trilogy before continuing. ![]() I have been searching for a new series to listen to for quite a while when Audible offered this book free in December. ![]()
